If another car is spotted in the blind spot area, a guide appears in the driver's or front passenger's door pillar and on the Advanced Drive-Assist® Display. Put your turn signal on, and the guide flashes with a warning chime to notify you.
2. Rear Cross Traffic Alert:
When you are backing out of a parking space, this available feature can alert you about detected vehicles you might not see behind you approaching from either side.
3. Intelligent Cruise Control:
Unlike classic systems that only maintain a specific speed, Intelligent Cruise Control also helps keep a modifiable set distance between you and the car in front of you. As traffic cools down or speeds up, ICC responds accordingly.
4. Forward Emergency Braking:
Utilizing radar technology to keep an eye on your speed and proximity to the cars ahead of you, Forward Emergency Braking gives you audible and visual display alerts to help you minimize your speed, if necessary. It can also apply braking if you fail to respond to help you avoid an accident. If a collision is unavoidable, this feature will engage the breaks to help reduce speed of impact and reduce the severity of an accident.
5. Predictive Forward Collision Warning:
In traffic, it only takes a second to get caught off balanced in a potentially hazardous situation. With this technology, a radar sensor on the front of your Nissan is always monitoring not only one car ahead of you, but two. When the system identifies sudden deceleration two cars ahead, it gives you an audible warning and a visual alert on the instrument panel.
